The 4 week Filmmaker’s Toolkit is more than just weekly zoom sessions, it’s a way to reclaim your progress and move forward towards your filmmaking goals, with the right tools. This online Zoom course will cover the tools you need to take those next critical steps in transforming your project from the page to the screen.

Together we’ll dive into how each tool will be used and applied to your filmmaking skill set and current works in progress. With honest live discussions into what each of our roadblocks are, you won’t just learn, but you’ll start to put into practice these strategies for lasting change and to gain momentum.

By the end, you’ll have gained tools, knowledge and the skills you need to confidently move forward with your current project. You’ll have also joined a dynamic community of filmmakers in a space that upholds space for queer stories and filmmakers from the LGBTQIA+ community.

It’s been sitting there, for a while, in the drawer or in a folder on your desktop. You were once so excited about it, and you’ve done well and pushed the project as far as you can - but it’s become isolating, frustrating and you have lost some of that mojo along the way.

Making films is hard. Bloody hard in fact. There is an entire world out there of unmade scripts and films. That’s why The Filmmaker’s Toolkit is the foundation and tools you need, to strive and fight for your project.

Yes - you’ll have to fight to get it made. Over 4 weeks, this online workshop will give you the skills you need to face the next tough chapter in getting your film made and you will come away with a solid plan of where to go next. Whether you have a fully fleshed out script, or need ideas, this workshop will guide you through a progress, that is calm, that puts your filmmaker wellness first, that leads with kindness and empathy, that is passionate, and most of it, that allows you to find the ‘progress’ button and move forward with it.

This 4-week programme, will cover coming up with a solid plan and action steps, building pitching documents like a pitch deck, finding and proving your pathway to audience, the wild world of funding applications, financing your film and building your team.
